Dark Council Productions is a 501(c)(3) creative collective producing immersive experiences and community events - using story and collaboration to raise funds for other Humboldt County nonprofits.
What began in 2013 as the Haunted Mill Tour evolved into the Haunted Rail Tour 2023, and now emerges as the Dark Council - a collective of artists, builders, and producers entertaining for good cause. Each event was a ritual of storytelling and community, benefiting Humboldt County nonprofit partners.
More than $250,000 has been raised and contributed to support local nonprofit arts, museums, and veterans.
We are an evolving group of artists, performers, builders, filmmakers, dj's, writers, and designers who come together to make immersive and original experiences. Projects are built collaboratively drawing on the skills of many creatives. Our work spans haunted theatrical tours, escape-rooms, murder mysteries, radio plays, and community fundraisers.
